What type of work did Candy perform (job title, skills used, responsibilities)?

Candy was an excellent developer and resource. Her initial job was RPG ILE developer. However she also developed technical training modules and was incorporated into the training department for some of her time. This was crucial to the companies progress in developing offshore resources. Many project managers were vying for her time. Although it was not part of her job description, she effectively managed offshore resources in India

How would you rate Candy’s knowledge of technical skills used (on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest)?

Do you feel Candy works well independently and is dedicated?

Candy is very thorough and dedicated. This was proven many times on the projects at Galaxe. She worked very well independently. However I think that she was also an under appreciated potential project manager.

What are Candy’s strengths and which areas do you feel if any could use improvement?

Candy is very strong technically. I was very impressed with her both as a developer and also a trainer. In my opinion, she organised the companies entire technical training program!!!!!

Did you find Candy to be a stable asset ?

Candy was very stable, dependable. The type of person that forms the backbone of the major stable companies.

Please comment on work habits, communication skills, ability to work with other employees?

Reliable and dependable. She worked well with some very difficult client relationships, and some equally difficult people within the company we worked at. The client asked for her personally on several projects (perhaps causing some internal conflict sometimes).

If you had the opportunity, would you use Candy again?

Absolutely.

I couldn't rate anybody higher than Candy.
Every so often somebody comes along in your professional life that really impresses. Candy is one of those people. She was an incredible asset to the projects that we worked on together and also the projects that she worked on subsequently. Candy Slackman worked on a number of projects for 
the company.  She worked on many that involved 
interfaces with outside vendors.  Candy was well liked
and had a great rapport with the end users at the sites.
